Katrina's Kids' mission is to provide resources for foster children and children living in group homes to have the opportunity to take part in activities that build confidence, strengthen character, and teach valuable social and communication skills. Money raised at this event will provide resources for foster children to afford activities like music lessons, summer camps, athletic and recreation programs, scouting, leadership development and job skills training … and a whole host of other after-school and summer enrichment activities.

With the new improvements to the parking area behind the Island Shops the concept of the Downtown Pawleys Live one-day festival was born. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Hobcaw Barony. Hobcaw Barony is 16,000 acre tract of land dedicated to research and education in the fields of coastal ecology, marine biology, and the humanities relating to coastal South Carolina.
