UPDATES

THIS Friday (9/25) in ATLANTA at Terminal West!

The ATL...a place we just don't get to as much anymore...but here we come. This time around, another "early" show on a Friday...but hope you'll make the effort, as it will be well worth it, as not only is it at one of the coolest venues in Atlanta, TERMINAL WEST, but also we will be supporting Connor Christian and his band The Southern Gothic (who obliged us with an opening set at the Windjammer on July 3, so we are returning the favor). They are a GREAT country-rock band with nothing but energy and swagger and chops...Blue Dogs fans will love them if they don't already. But GET YOUR TICKETS NOW...this is a hometown show for them, and it will likely sell out. See the link to the right of this post!! Don't forget it's an early show...the Dogs will hit the stage at 8 or 8:15 and play a solid hour set, followed by a big set with TSG. Bring it on Georgia!

Bobby in Augusta...9/18-19!

First off - we want to give a HUGE thank you to everyone who came out and saw us at The Music Farm in Columbia last weekend. We had a blast and it was so good to see all of your familiar (and new) faces.

This weekend Bobby will play a really cool event in Augusta, GA called Border Bash. It's him along with Kevin Kinney of Drivin' & Cryin', The Joe Stevenson Band, and more! Gamecock and Bulldog fans will come together on the Savannah River to celebrate the annual rivalry football game.  2014 will mark the event’s 21st Anniversary that has grown into an evening that includes music, UGA & USC Cheerleaders, School Mascots - Hairy Dawg & Cocky as well as vendors from around the Southeast!

Also, Bobby will be the special guest on Saturday night for the Patrick Blanchard Band at Arts in the Heart, also in downtown Augusta. Set is 7:30-9,. and Bobby hits the stage at 8:15 for a few songs, including some Blue Dogs!

Next Friday (9/25) we'll be kicking things off for our buddies The Southern Gothic in Atlanta at Terminal West! Can't wait to get back to see all of you Atlanta folks...

Catch us THIS WEEKEND at Music Farm Columbia & TawbaFest Rock Hill!

Columbia! You won't want to miss this show on Friday 9/11. We've got a killer lineup for you including ourselves, The Distributors (Murray from Tootie & The Jones), & The Nick Clyburn Band! If you haven't been to the Columbia Music Farm yet - you've got to come check it out. Saturday, we head up 77 and will play the 2nd annual TawbaFest at Riverwalk in Rock Hill! It will be a great day with friends with over 25 food vendors, regionally brewed craft beer, wine, and mixed drinks available for sale- all while jamming out to live music along the river, sounds pretty great, right? Can't wait to see everyone this weekend!

Bobby Houck with Phillip Lammonds in Pawleys Island THIS SUNDAY!

Anyone down on the Grand Strand this Labor Day weekend won't want to miss the rare duo performance of Blue Dogs lead singer Bobby Houck with Blue Dog Emeritus Phillip Lammonds, who is now a Curb Publishing songwriter and writing up a storm with the best of them! Expect Blue Dogs classics, including many songs Phillip and Bobby wrote together, plus some new Lammonds gems that Bobby probably hasn't heard either! In the Hammock Shops Gazebo from 7-10pm.

Just Added: Tawba Fest! Rock Hill SC Saturday 9/12/15

This 2nd Annual event expects to draw twice as many as its first year last year....which brought 5000 folks out! It's "Fitness, Food, and Fun" and there will be activities, food, beverages, and music featuring the Blue Dogs full band! Held down on the river in the new Riverwalk development in Rock Hill, it's happening from 2-10pm, and it's sure to be a great time! Go to www.tawbafest.com for more info! But it's free to the public, and on, rain or shine! Music will happen from 6-9:30pm. Opening band tba--and Blue Dogs play 7:15-8:15 and 8:30-9:30!

Dogs perform at 3pm! Join us for an old fashioned, All-American Block Party on September 10th from noon to 5 p.m. at Buckwalter Place, near the intersection of Buckwalter Parkway and Bluffton Parkway in Bluffton, SC.  The Bluffton Block Party has a simple mission - for all of us to celebrate American pride and spirit and to commemorate the 10th anniversary of 9-11.  The whole neighborhood is invited to thank our military men and women as well as police, firefighters, EMS and others who protect our liberty and to celebrate the freedom and privileges their sacrifices guarantee.

This event will benefit Operation R&R, a program which brings military families to the Hilton Head/ Bluffton area for a virtually free vacation to help them “reconnect” with their spouse and kids after long periods away due to multiple deployments.

The White Mule-Acoustic Trio

 —  —

1530 Main Street , Columbia, SC

This has been a standing room only show every time we've played it. It's great fun, and a different kind of show....the first set especially is intimate and quiet and you're truly hearing the band in an "unplugged" format. We suggest you come as early as you can to try and grab some of the few tables where you can sit, have drinks, and have a great dinner....their food is awesome, particularly the homemade pizzas! Come join Hank, David, and Bobby for a great night of music. Get your advance tickets by clicking here!
