Annual Thanksgiving Eve Show in Flotown!

Hank and Bobby return to their hometown of Florence SC for the night before Thanksgiving, which we think they've been playing as long as they've been a band...at least 27 years...and it's probably the best night of all of the holiday gatherings, including through Christmas, for old friends and family from the Pee Dee to gather and greet each other to kick off the holiday season. We've got the full band, featuring Florence native Parker Dewitt on drums, and our now-regular guitar/mando combo of Dan Hood on guitar and James Bernabe on mandolin.

For the second year, our show is brought to you by our friends at Victor's Bistro and will be outside in the James Allen Plaza next to Hotel Florence in the heart of downtown Florence. Food and beverage vendors will be on hand! The event goes from 6pm-11pm, with music kicking off at 6:30pm with homegrown Pee Dee country rocker James Scott Bullard performing in an acoustic duo with Jeff Springs...and the Dogs perform from 8:30-10:30! Admission is FREE--just bring yo'selfs and yo' loved ones and join us for a great night!!

Looking forward to seeing our friends in town for that. We have a great opening band from Athens GA, The Corduroy Road, opening the show, so the show will start promptly at 9, and the Dogs will take the stage around 10. We also are SO happy to announce a special guest who will perform solo and also with us during our set...Asheville's own Amanda Ann Platt of the Honeycutters. So this is shaping up to be a great night in A'ville!

We shared the stage in the Fall with NRBQ, and then did the private Governor's inaugural ball...but now it's time to get down to the songs with us and our fans. We are doing this show unplugged, and we are featuring with US a wonderful musician whom we've gotten to know this year...Amanda Ann Platt of the Honeycutters (out of Asheville). She will perform solo during our show, and also with us! So don't miss this. Bobby has already promised new songs for this show...so be ready to hear some new Dogs music!
